Dive into the Dark
Locked inside and with a global pandemic roaring, Jennifer Lesh Fleck fired up the keyboard to try her hand at something new to her: speculative fiction. Drawing on a past spent studying literary poetry and fiction, she took several masterclasses from experts in the field, soon discovering her footing and her voice in a dark, strange landscape.
She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family in a home that's a dead ringer for the Amityville Horror House, though it's been repainted a cheery jade green. Her work is often informed by the challenges of lifelong hidden disability from a rare inherited disease. Find her on social media accounts for cute dog photos, adorable dog videos, amusing dog anecdotes, and writing news, too.
